The Sun in 3D from NASA              Prepared by 3Dstereo.com

For the first time, scientists will be able to see structures in the Sun's atmosphere in 3D. The new view will improve space weather forecasting and greatly aid scientist's ability to understand solar physics.

In order to see the 3D images in 3D, you will need anaglyph (red/cyan or red/blue) glasses.  We sell several different qualities depending on your needs.  Paper glasses have a short term life.  They become wrinkled and wear faster, yet they are very inexpensive.  If you wish to use the 3D glasses again and again, plastic frames are more durable and longer lasting.  We offer an inexpensive solution with our folding frame ones.  We have found that excellent results are obtained from the patented Anachrome glasses and even more superior than Anachrome, are the Anachrome glasses with diopter magnification.  You can see the texture of the sun with greater clarity with the slight magnification provided by these glasses. They are more expensive, but worth it and can be used on other 3D views on the internet. See below.
