Loreo 3D Lens-In-A-Cap - stereo attachment for your regular camera - Nikon mount
Now, real 3D stereo pictures with your own Nikon camera.
This special 3D Lens-In-A-Cap (Nikon mount) is for use with all Nikon cameras with Non-AI, AI, or AIs mounts. It turns your 2D Nikon Camera into a 3D camera.
This self-contained, integrated beamsplitter/lens system creates the 3D stereo images on film and does not need any support lens.
You take off the lens from your Nikon body and attach the 3D Lens-In-A-Cap, then just simply set the aperture and focus range settings right on the 3D Lens-In-A-Cap and then shoot -- it's that easy!
The 3D Lens-In-A-Cap system consists of a mirror system to transpose two images through two 28mm lenses onto the film, thus there are no keystone imperfections like that with other mirror-only beamsplitters.
The actual 3D stereo pairs are two side by side images (half frame images) in standard 24mm x 36mm format on the film, so no special film and no special processing is necessary.
Stereo Prints
These 3D image pairs can be printed like a regular print and viewed using a Loreo Lite Viewer (included), or view them in any other 3D stereo print viewer. You can put the image in a Poste-Vue and mail to family and friends.

Digital Images
These 3D image pairs can be opened in an image editing program such as Photoshop. For making anaglyph, interlaced images, etc., and stereo image editing, we recommend downloading the StereoPhotoMaker freeware click here. An anaglyph sample shown below was made from stereo pair shown above with this freeware. For best results, use red/cyan glasses.

You may also use your 3D Lens-In-A-Cap and shoot with slide film and view the regularly mounted slides in 3D stereo slide viewers for 2in x2in stereo slide mounts. Or, you may even mount each half of the stereo pair as two half frame images in RBT or slip-in mounts in the Nimslo/half frame size, and view these stereo slides in standard Realist/5perf. stereo slide viewers. The possibilities go on and on.
