3Dstereo offers two distinct grades of Reels and Packets

Collector Grade: The very best of quality and value.
View-Master packets are in "excellent+" condition.  The reels are hardly used, a booklet is included when one was issued, and the packet jacket which always was first to wear, has no major defects.  Sometimes, a packet jacket may have a slight defect, it is always noted in the description, and still qualifies as Collector Grade.

Bargain Grade:  Priced lower than Collector Grade packets. A Bargain Grade packet will have one or more cosmetic defects, such as slight bubbling on the paper part of the reel; or it may have tape, tears, stains, or marks on the packet jacket, or missing back flaps, or just wear on the packet jacket that are too significant to allow it to qualify in the higher grade. - Bargain Grade packets are always offered at significant savings from the same packet qualifying for Collector Grade. Each defect is described.

Never compromised is the quality of the images on the reels.  The images are always in excellent condition, just like the reels of the higher grade.  There is never any fungus or "violeting."

3 Reels Only: Lowest priced of all the View-Master vintage options, 3 Reels Only sets are the same reels that came in 3-reel packets, but now without their outer packet jacket. Often the packet jackets and the reels went different ways over the years.

So today, 3 Reels Only sets offer the collector who is mainly concerned about good quality images and not the packaging to save money. 

Like the 3 Reel Vintage packets, we offer the 3 Reels Only sets in both Collector Grade, and with minor defects in Bargain Grade. Any defects are always described. Sometimes, the set's booklet is included; it will be noted in the description.
